About the studio
Three years of building software from Adama and Addis Ababa, for clients here and anywhere else.
How we work
Three steps. No mystery, no ceremony.
Discovery
We map the actual problem, the people who'll use the thing, and what success looks like in numbers. You get a scope, a fixed price and a timeline before anyone writes code.
Build
Weekly working builds, not status reports. You see the product take shape and can redirect it while that's still cheap.
Ship
Deploy, hand over, document, and stay reachable. We train your team on the admin tools so the software doesn't depend on us to run.
The studio story
Axum Software started as a small engineering team taking on work that was too complex for a template and too small for an agency. Three years later we're a focused studio with a clear position: build fewer things, build them properly.
We have one live public client project so far and several more in progress. We'd rather tell you that plainly than pad a portfolio with logos we never touched.
Where we work
Based in Adama and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — in-person meetings available in both cities. For everywhere else, we deliver fully remote and have done since day one.
A note from the founder
We named the studio after the Hawilt of Axum — carved in one piece, standing for seventeen centuries. That's the standard we want for the software we ship: built once, built right, still holding weight years later. If we take your project on, it's because we believe we can build it that way.
